In June 2015, the Hamburg Senate opened the city's third cruise ship terminal. Poltics and business were happy. Other ways of acting on the world's oceans were not considered.
More and more travellers sail the seas in ever-growing ships, which hide the realities of the seas in landscapes of wellness and consumption. How can we cross the logic of the cruise? How can we claim our right to the sea in the port city of Hamburg?
From August 14th to August 23rd 2015, secret agency opened its own alternative cruise ship terminal at the site of the former Oelkerswerft: without a ship, but with the aim of developing and testing visions for a different cruise industry and a different port together.
